Performance optimisation

Optimum performance can be adjusted with formulating techniques depending on the base paint composition and end properties required. Some formulation adjustments that can be made include the following:

• Specific solvent adjustments at optimum levels from a range of possible solvents and diluents.
• Additives for flow, gloss, scratch, mar resistance, texturing effects, adhesion, pigment settlement, flexibility and pigment interaction control.
